We provide staff attendance tracking, salary calculation, piece-rate logging, and payroll ledger tools designed for MSMEs, factories, contractors, and businesses.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and safeguarded when you use our mobile application and web platform.
1. Information We Collect
When you register and use LiyaBooks, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account & Business Information: Your business name, contact person name, mobile number, email address, and optional company logo.
- Workforce Data: Employee/staff names, mobile numbers, designations, salary type (monthly salary, daily wage, or piece-rate), and attendance muster records.
- Financial & Payroll Records: Recorded work hours, overtime entries, piece output units, cash advances, deductions, and generated salary vouchers.
- Device Camera & Photos (Optional): Used exclusively when you take staff profile photos, scan QR muster posters, or attach receipt vouchers. Images are never accessed without your explicit tap and consent.
- Device Location (Optional): Used only if you activate geofenced site punch verification to confirm on-site presence.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process workforce and attendance data solely to provide app functionality requested by you:
- To generate accurate attendance muster rolls and monthly payroll registers.
- To calculate piece-rate wages, overtime multipliers, and advance balances.
- To generate printable PDF salary slips and formatted WhatsApp summary texts.
- To securely synchronize your business records across your authorized devices.
Data Ownership Guarantee: You retain complete ownership of your business records. We never sell, rent, or trade your workforce or financial data to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
3. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure
LiyaBooks uses trusted, enterprise-grade cloud providers to deliver secure services:
- Google Firebase (Google Cloud): Authentication and encrypted database storage (Firestore).
- Razorpay: Encrypted payment gateway for optional Pro subscriptions. LiyaBooks never sees or stores full debit/credit card or banking credentials.
4. Data Security
Your data is isolated and protected by account-level access control rules and transmitted using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption. Multi-role staff access control allows business owners to restrict supervisory access to sensitive wage data.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain your business records as long as your account remains active. Business owners have full control over their data:
- You can edit or delete individual worker records, punches, and advance entries at any time directly within the app.
- To completely delete your account and all associated workforce records, go to Settings > Account Security > Delete Account within the app, or send a deletion request to admin@liyateksolutions.in. Upon confirmation, all account data is permanently purged from our servers.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any revisions will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
